Hi everybody! I'm new here, so I thought I'd take a few minutes and introduce myself.
My name is Cassie, and I'm from West Virginia. I am 22 years old. I just got accepted into a nursing program at Regis College up in Massachusetts. I'll be starting in the fall.
I'm very excited about starting school, but I'm also very nervous about it. Right out of high school, I got certified as a medical assistant and phlebotomist but it's been so long since I've been in school...kinda scary.
I look foward to getting to know all of you, and hopefully someone can calm my fears. It'll be nice to have people who are going through the same things as me to talk to. :)

Hey, glad to know ya. Which degree are you seeking (ADN/BSN)? Do you still need to get your prerequisites (A&P, Microbiology, Chemistry) done or are you jumping right into nursing courses?
I just started my nursing courses last week. I love it, and you will too. Wish I was starting at 22, lol. I'm 35!
Nurse Weasel, I'm jumping straight into the BSN program :) I hope that I love it as much as you do :)

Welcome, Cass!
You will love the Boston area! ('cept right now it's freezin'!) . . . I live an hour north of Boston (so I get to be even colder!) literally just over the NH border.
We lived in greater Boston, and I worked in Cambridge, before we moved farther north. We still go into Boston for fun often. If you have any questions about New England--just fire away!
