Test 1= 90% (worth 10% of grade)

Test 2= 72% (worth 25% of grade)

Test 3=74% (worth 25% of grade)

Test 4= (will be worth 10%)

final= (will be worth 30%)

so what do my next two grades have to be to achieve a 75% to pass this course

Specializes in NICU.

test 1 = (90*.1) = 9

test 2= (72*.25)= 18

test 3= (74*.25)= 18.5

Total so far = 45.5

75-45.5= 29.5

so you need 29.5 more points such as:

Test 4 75*.1= 7.5

Final 75*.3= 22.5

30 points

could I pass if I get a 75% on the next two tests?

There are tons of websites for this. You literally just have to type in "weighted grade calculator".

PS get ready for a lot of people to be annoyed/angry with your post.

I guess its cause I am good at math, so I shake my head when people cant do it.

I guess its the same way when they read my papers that look like they were written paper by a 10 year old. LOL

I think it's more because OP didn't even attempt to do it themselves.

I second that... People might start telling you... "Maybe if you devoted as much time to studying as you do to calculating what you need to pass.."

I'm guilty of always calculating what I need to get an A, B, and C.

I think its just a human thing. We mostly all do it (at least in my class) However, those who insist to just study :instead are correct. Lol.

Yeah, i have noticed people get a little ***** about things that are not worth getting angered over.

It's one thing to want to know, it's another thing to ask the internet to figure it out for you. It's not difficult math (probably easier than dose calculations, even).

Your question should be how to pull your grades up, not what the bare minimum is that you'll need to pass.
