How many of you are there? What's next for you? I've just registered for classes. We only have one set of clinicals in the first semester. It's adult care 1. Other than that we have assessment and fundamentals. I need to get my physical and get tested to see if I still have immunity from previous vaccines. If not, I get to be a pin cushion for a little while :) Other than that, I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for school now that I'm taking on twice the tuition bill transferring to a university. I'm applying to two hospitals to see if I can get in their scholarship and service programs. This is a super busy month!

Congratulations to all of the new additions! I have survived being drained of all my blood for titers :) I'm a happy girl because I won't need any vaccines. I have a HUGE interview tomorrow for a full tuition and fees paid scholarship, plus employment! Good juju, vibes, troll dolls, prayers, and whatever else any of you have to be sent my way, please send it all!!!!!

I start in August! I have to get physical, vaccines, CPR certified over summer. Our orientation is August 4th!!! I've been getting advice from last semester's students. I'm so anxious to start! I wish orientation was tomorrow! I'm going to try and enjoy my summer! Congrats everyone! :)

I was accepted to three different schools, but I have decided to go to Pace University at the Westchester campus. I have registered for classes, have been cleared for clinical and accepted all of my financial aid and loans! I have started the process of buying books, all I have to say is OMG!! I have to purchase, 8 books plus three bundles of books, an iclicker, a level II lab pack (no idea what this is yet), and my shoes and uniforms! (so far spent about $1,000 and not even half way done) ekkks

I finally get to reply! I'll be starting this August and can't wait! Called the Health Occupations office at the school last week and found out I'd been accpted (letters were sent out that afternoon) and I got my packet today. Luckily I work at a hospital and they check our titers and give Hep B shots as part of the new employee health screening, PLUS I already have my BLS for healthcare providers. Paid for my background check today, so I just need a physical and I'm good to go!

I start Fall 2012!! I was called last week to move up, someone declined their spot!! I have orientation wednesday and can drop my fall classes that I had registered for (non-nursing classes). I am so excited! We have all worked so hard to get here! Good luck to all of you!

I found out last month. I was losing it bc I thought I wasn't going to get in. I don't have any additional details regarding orientation or financial aid. I'm super excited and fair wait for my first clinical!

I just got my acceptance letter this week and couldn't do anything but scream and run around the house! I keep reading my acceptance letter to make sure the words don't change!!! LOL..... I got accepted into Farleigh Dickinson University's BSN program for Fall 2012... I can't wait to get started! our first day of class is 8/27 :nurse:

Got my acceptance letter May 17th and was dry heaving. Yes I dry heave when I am trying to cry tears of joy! I too kept reading it over and over and I got a rejction letter along with it from another college in a same self addressed stamped envelope. I was panicking as I didn't read the header was from another college and said "is this a freaking joke" then my fiance cleared it up for me! Haha. We start in 12 days O M Goodness! RN here I come.

I got my package and info for orientation a few days ago! Went and tried on scrubs at the bookstore and got my name badges. They're fancy :) Our SNA does a fundraiser selling Littmann steths, so I picked out one and I'm super psyched to get it! I got the cardio 3 with the caribbean blue tubing and rainbow finish. I thought about getting the master cardiology but hubby suggested I wait on the expensive one because 1- I don't want to lose it and 2- it makes for a great graduation present idea.

My packet said I need to be available the first week of the semester from 9:00-4:00. I'm so bummed :( This is my kids' first week, too, and they have their own orientations that week as well. Hubs can go, but I hate missing out. I had to miss their k/prek graduation last week because I was in CNA testing. I keep reminding myself this will be worth it in the end but man the mom-guilt sucks :( I'm so thankful hubs can be there because I would literally burst into tears at the thought that neither of us would be there. This, too, shall pass.
