Blah, summer school...

I have two weeks to go this quarter, then I'll be taking 12 credits this summer. I am excited though as I'll be starting the ADN program in summer. I cannot believe it is three weeks away!

How many days are you attending this summer. I will be at school 4 days/week for classes.

We've been going for 2 weeks already and it's SOOO much harder. :crying2: And to make matters worse by the time we get in the groove of this the summer will be over! But I look on the bright side.... Next summer I'll hopefully be taking boards and be a RN!!! :) :balloons:

I start tomm but I am taking both adolescent and child psych along with intermediate algebra online so I am hoping it wont be too brutal

I'm still doing pre-reqs, but i'm taking math 2, chem 1 and bio 2 this summer!!! Will be taking Chem 2 and Eng 2 in the fall/winter!

sigh...i'll be so glad when I'm done!!

SO I AM NOT ALONE......:chuckle was beginning to wonder if I was the only one out there bitting the bullet this summer. I myself started last week and am taking Nutrition, Psyc., and human growth and development. It is going to be a long summer and my classes seem to be harder then i imagined :rolleyes: ---- LOTS AND LOTS OF STUDYING!!!! I am grateful I choose to take courses however, i will keep in the school mode and get some pre reqs outta the way!.......GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I start my CNA class tomorrow. I'm kind of excited because in the last year that I've been working on prereqs, this is my very first real-life, on-campus, in-person class. So I'm excited to actually interact with other adults. Plus, this particular class was reserved for incoming fall nursing students, so I'm excited to meet some of the people with whom I'l be sharing a huge part of my life for the next two years.

But basically this summer is going to suck. I've got 14 credits going this summer, a cram for starting the nursing classes in the fall.

One instructor in my program affectionately refers to this summer as "Suicide Summer" ... :rolleyes: :chuckle

I'm knee-deep in the middle of Med-Surg - about 30 hours of class/clinical per week. Tues - Thurs. is now like one big long day for me - I squeeze in a couple of hours of sleep here & there ... two classmates have dropped out within the last week.

Looking foward to sleeping in August ... it'll all be worth it in the end.

Yes Indeed I feel your pain. I'm taking summer courses myself--started 2 weeks ago. So much to learn in a little time-frame. Taking Micro and Sociology and am repeating physiology (on-line). Never seem to have too much time. 1st micro exam tomorrow and I'm freaking. *deep breath*.

I will start in 2 more weeks. This is my very last week of vacation EVER (I am starting a job next week, orientation :lol2: ) Then for the summer I am taking 2 classes that are each 3 weeks long for a total of 6 units. I am not sure how hard they will be, one is Media Stereotypes and the other is Philosophy (Morals or something). Both are upper division G.E.

The thing that sucks is that I took my last lower division G.E. this last semester so only have upper G.E. besides the nursing program. Well, I had to PAY this summer for these courses!!! At the CC I always got a tuition waiver because I got financial aid...not at the university!

So, I am not sure how hard these classes will be, but there is supposed to be a lot of writing in the Philosophy class...

I too, am taking summer school. I start this Thur (sigh) and I will be taking A&P I and lab, and Eng 102 online. Hopefully I wont do too bad because I havent taken a class since last spring!! Wish me luck! :uhoh3:

i have to take 2 classes beginning june 8th and ends on july 2nd (i think) one is a math class, i must pass to get into the program! it is 099 so i hope it will not be to bad.
