I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm glad to hear your son is recovering.
If you haven't already, you should tell your nursing instructors what is going on in your personal life.
I'm praying for you and your family. What's your son's name? In fact what is your name?
God bless,

I am so sorry to hear about your son! I am praying for a speedy recovery!
Maybe if you talk with your instructors, they will let you redo those tests?
Good luck!

There will be better easier times. I'm so sorry your Sean and your family is having such a difficult time of it. There really is no good time for a hospitalized child. If you want to talk more about it, please feel free. We're here to listen. Sending prayerful thoughts for healing and wishes for a quick recovery your way. As others have said, talk with your instructors if you haven't already.

Nursing school is hard enough; adding a traumatic event into the equation can really push you to the edge. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My father passed away in the middle of a semester and I will never know how I managed to squeak through. My professors were supportive and helpful. It may be helpful for you to let them know what is going on. Even giving you extra time to get homework done may make a huge difference in your stress level.
