You try to pay for your bus trip using your hospital swipe card instead of a metro card ( bus ticket)

Giving report and finishing with mumbled, "have a good night. I mean, day".
Making Dunkin Donuts stops at 11pm.
Wrenching open the door for a UPS delivery at 2PM, with wild hair, crazy eyes, and pajamas.
Picking up a day shift and being overwhelmed with lights, sounds, people, and management!
Glaring at other drivers, gritting teeth, and trying to win at all stop lights on the way home. I am a NIGHT SHIFT nurse just getting out of work, buddy, NO ONE wants to get where they're going faster than I do!
Also... having total giggle fits at 2AM, laughing til we cry!
All the patients who, when I ask, "how did you sleep?" and they say, "great! how about you? Where do you guys get to sleep?"
