I have a question for the polls I haven't seen here yet.

Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

In a hospital... PP and nursery.

School Nurse - Elementary Grades Pre-Kindergarten to 5th. Have a fair number of special care students.

Long term care -- psychogeriatric locked unit.

ER- 2nd largest in the state,..7th largest in the Nation (so they say). I feel like 3/4 of our total annual patients came in on my labor day shift..WHEW....:balloons: :balloons:

clinical ed for a 504 be field hosp.

all bleeding eventually stops, and all rythms eventually become recognizable

90 bed long term care facility. Work skilled Medicare unit, day shift, full time.

Specializes in correctional, psych, ICU, CCU, ER.

City Jail, bith men and women. full time days every weekend off, evrey holiday off.

I love it!!!!!!

80 bed hospital. I work in our 30 bed med-surg/peds/tele/post-op give us what the other departments won't accept floor.

i nurse in the bathroom of denny's just like my allnurses.com sibs taught me...

i'm currently on a medical sabbatical times five years now, and will be returning to nursing sometime after we move out of texas. when i worked in nursing, i did everything except or and l&d. just call me the nurse of all trades. :chuckle

my favorite units that i've worked are newborn nursery and pediatrics. when working with adults, i liked the post-op surgical units the best. :nurse:

Work multiple places. In correctional center FT (male inmates) and then PT at hospital Med-Surg and ER mainly. Love doing them all, good experience.
