Hot and humid here - 24 - 34 degrees Centigrade. We have been having thunderstorns (big ones with lots of wind and lightning) every afternoon. So Temperature is up and the ground is soggy so it is like a steam bath.
Tell you what - you ship me some of your cold and I will ship you some of the steam and humidity.

WOW! I'm shaking just reading about the cold tempratures some of you have to endure.
I'm in Virginia,we got about 3 inches of snow on Monday with about 1/2 inch of ice on top and things have been almost at a standstill here. Our clinic was closed Monday,we worked a half a day yesterday. The temp now is in the 20's.
We just don't get a lot of snow here ,some winters we never see a flake! I know all my northern neighbors would probably be happy with this!
I am freezing with the temps in the 20's ....I just don't think I would do well with the cold temps some of you have. I guess I'll stop complaining about the cold here!

moonchild that was us about 3 weeks ago! i live in vancouver washington and we just don't get much snow here that often in the city. like amybe 1-2 inches every other year. anyway we got dumped on 6-7 inches and it hadn't melted off and the next wee got about 8-9 inches plus a sheet of ice on top! as you can imagine our city was shut down for a week school was closed for a week the INTERNATIONAL airport was closed! (those poor people were stranded for days in the terminal) anyway there are still some piles around town of snow but we are back to our normal 40's and rain.

Snowed 3 inches yesterday. Have some ice patches. Hovering around 18 degrees. Wind chill is making it feel like 4 or 5. Good skiing weather, but I don't ski.
