What nursing journals to you subscribe to?

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I just purchased a subscription to Nursing2007.....

Specializes in Med-Surg, ED.

Thats a good one, I really like it....(of course its Nursing 2008 now lol) :)

I also get AJN (good for political stuff.), RN,(I find it the easiest to read of them all), MCN (which is so-so but not my thing...I don't really know why I subscribed lol), Journal of Holisitic Nursing (From AHNA).

I am a magazine addict. I get tons more, but they are non-nursing so I'll leave them out! :)

Specializes in SICU, EMS, Home Health, School Nursing.

I am a member of AACN and I get all of their magazines, but thats it.

Specializes in Med-Surg, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac.

I like the easy to read Nursing Made Incredibly Easy and Nursing2008.

Specializes in Maternal-Fetal.

Oh I LOVE the Nursing Made Easy journal! I also get AJN as well as the Nursing 2008

Nursing 2008 (Duh!)

Specializes in LTC/hospital, home health (VNA).

Nursing 2008 and Home Healthcare Nurse

Specializes in Day Surgery, Agency, Cath Lab, LTC/Psych.

I love Nursing 2008, Nursing Made Incredibly Easy and Critical Care Nurse (I think that's what its called). I dislike AJN (which I also subscribe to) because their articles are irrelevant to my current job and they seem out of touch with staff nurses. I don't like the political overtones of that magazine.

I like all the journals except RN - recently it's started to look (and read) like a tabloid, so I didn't renew my subscription. My favorite is Critical Care because, even though I work med/surg, a lot of it is relevant.

Specializes in Cardiac Care.

I like Nursing 2008 and AJN. I also get RN, but I don't like it much anymore, so I'll let that expire. I also get Men In Nursing. Not bad, but I'll probably let that go, too...

I subscribe to none..they're so boring don't you think?

I like Nursing 2008, also. I would like to subscribe to Nursing Spectrum but I think you need a nursing license... correct?????
