What do you do on the drive to work?

So I drive 200 miles to work one way. For me that's 3.5 hours that I feel I should be productive with.

My solution: learning Spanish with CD's that I put in my car.

However there's only so much Spanish I can try and learn at one point before I need a break. :p

Anyone have any suggestions?

For those that drive a distance, what do you do during your drive?

I hope you don't make that drive twice per day! I had a job 5 hours from home once and worked 6 on 8 days off. My husband gave me a subscription for XM radio at that time. I have had it ever since! I love the variety. I can listen to music, comedy, news, books, talk, baseball games, etc. It has been the one thing that has kept me going on car trips.

I feel very lucky. I only have a 10 minute drive in the morning and about 20-25 minutes on the way home, depending on traffic. I usually listen to my voice mails via my bluetooth and try to organize in my head what tasks to accomplish first when I get home. I give you a lot of credit, don't know if I could be in the car that long.

Oh gosh no.

I go up, do my three, stay in a hotel, and come down.

I would die driving 7 hours a day!

OMG!?!?!?!?!? How long do you stay at work to make it worth your while? Four days?!

Whoever admits to picking their nose and rolling up boogers on that kind of drive is the most honest person here, lol.

Edit:::: Well, apparently the last reply beat this reply by seconds!

I drive and pay attention to the road. Are we supposed to be doing something different?

My drive is fairly short now. When I drove 45 min to an hour, I would listen to books that I downloaded from iTunes.

Eh, I don't find it too challenging. And I am safe.

I found myself in my first hailstorm ever last week and I turned off my CD so that I could pay attention and focus.

Do I get brownie points for that? :)
