What do all of you think? Was Sammy for real? She hasn't answered us in over a week. Do you think someone made that story up just to trick us? I was so worried and concerned for her...but don't you think that she should have answered us by now with something? Maybe I'm wrong...but I just wondered what you all thought. Thanks...tell me what you think.

It's always possible someone was just bored and posted to see what responses they would get but, it's also possible that things went badly and talking about it hurts to much right now. Actually, I'd rather we were duped than to see her actually in this situation. Just my opinion. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers, just in case and if this was a trick, that says something very sad, don't you agree?

I think it is much more likely that things went badly and sammie is ashamed to let anyone know. I could very well be wrong here, but that is my gut feeling. As a group we are not often very supportive of the nurse in that type of situation, instead of being supportive we so often gang up and tell the nurse how they could have or should have handled the situation. We blame each other as much as anyone does, much too often.
That is my thought anyway. I hope I am wrong because I hate to think of a nurse in her situation being santioned or on probation etc... but I fear that is what happened.

I agree, that if the worse happened, that she was totally in fear of! I don't believe that I would be able to come online, and be able to talk about it. I surely hope that nothing bad happened, but even if this wasn't real. I would be very happy to know that, then to find out the worst happened.

If Sammy wasn't for real, he/she is in the wrong business. I would rather be conned than not respond to someone who might be in need. I think it's for real.

I to believe sammy was for real i heard it in her words on her first post. She sounded desperate, and she reponded in thanks after the first post!! Although i was concerned about the reason why she was in trouble in the first place, unless the laws there are much more strict, if the right med was given to the right pt,at the right time, and just not signed for, then why couldnt she just go in and make a late entry ?? Anyone wonder about that?? Just currious. I do hope she is okay. She to will be in my thoughts and prayers until i here from her.

Maybe Sammy just hasn't/doesn't want to make time to go on-line.

It has only been a week. I personally feel that her letter was gut-wrenching REAL. Why would someone as busy as a nurse is, bother with typing the long letter that she did, and express the emotion that she did?I know a single parent with a child has not alot of time to mess around. She did respond to us in an open, grateful manner. The idea that we were somehow "conned" is unacceptable to me. I only hope that things did not turn out badly and that she can get on with her life. Maybe she became ill-a common occurrance under stress, or maybe her computer went down. How about her child? Anything could have kept her from posting. Also, do you think she may be tired of all the stress of it, and wants to NOT talk about it for awhile? No, lets give her the benefit of the doubt and continue sending our prayers and love out to her.
