This is just a technicality, but the only options to define your role offered are student nurse, experienced LPN, experienced RN. I chose student nurse, though I am in fact an RN with no experience.

I know it's a little thing...and I know it's not intentional. But geez, now I kinda feel like I'm not even valued for taking a survey. And yes everyone.....I know that's a little overdramatic, I don't need a lecture. I'm just pretty raw and hyper-sensitive about my perceived value right now.

^^ I noticed the same thing :)

An option for the LVN would be nice, too.

Specializes in Pediatric, Psych, School.

I agree. I am a newly employed RN with only a few months of experience, and there was no way to enter

I took the survey but would like to make a comment. I have interviewed with several different companies as an RN and have worked for a total of four. In every case, the advertisements were upbeat and highly attractive. The interviews all went well and left me feeling like I would have a very positive experience with each company. However, without fail, all of the companies that I have worked for have lied about the work environment at their respective facilities, leaving me highly suspect of advertisements like those in the survey. As for the question about the truthfulness of the advertisement, how can one possibly know if the ad is truthful without spending some time at the company as an employee?

I noticed that too. How do I know if they are truthful?? I put whatever the neutral/i don't know choice was.

I think that's a very good point. I don't think you're being overdramatic; I think it's a very valid point because even something that small can skew the results. Good call.
