Prayers needed!

Everyone, prayers needed. A nurse in our hospital, 20 weeks pregnant, fell very, very ill with confirmed H1N1 last week. She became critically ill and almost died. As of today, she is still critical, but stable. However, the fetus succumbed to her illness. She is still on a vent and is unaware of this yet. I don't know her personally, but everyone is praying for her to pull through this. I thought this would be a great place to ask for prayers for her. Thanks.

How sad. She, her family, and all at the hospital will be in my thoughts and prayers.

One more reason ALL healthcare workers should have had their own, private H1N1 vaccine clinic prior to public access. I feel strongly that healthcare workers, EMS, and police, fire fighters should have had access to the vaccine prior to any others. NOT MANDATORY, but if they wanted it.

History always repeats it's self. It is a cycle every 30-50 years a mega virus sweeps the world. I heard that from an epidemiologist. The 1918 flu brought us Parkinson's as a sequela.

She has my prayers - both for healing and comfort when she becomes aware. What a sad situation, but she is very fortunate to have a coworker seeking out prayer for her.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen
