Tomorrow I take both my finals, in nursing and in microbiology. While I have no concern about nursing, I am VERY worried about micro and have spent the last two days doing nothing but reading and writing in preparation. I need to make a pretty decent grade in order to pass. Micro has been so hard for me and taking it in my last semester ever has caused that much more pressure. If I don't pass micro, I can't graduate! :(

So I am asking if you would all keep me in your thoughts tomorrow, between 3 & 5 pm eastern time (LOL). It seems my whole nursing career is riding on this test! :eek:

LauraRN, I will pray for you. My prayers are the usual. I pray for my/others wants and needs and end with God's will be done. God knows best, right? So no matter what happens we know God is in control. I have never been able to understand prayer, I just do what the Bible says.

Don't worry Laura, YOU WILL do well, because YOU WILL be prepared! I have heard many say the same thing about Micro, and I believe you WILL reach your goal! Just believe in yourself, and YOU WILL do ALL that you aspire to do! I will be adding my good wishes, and believing in your ability to go the distance!

Tonight shut the books, soak in the tub and read some romance novels or watch a good tear jerker movie like An Officier and a Gentleman (dating myself)---somthing not involved with nursing. Put the mind to rest and know that tomorrow afternoon, I'll be sending you positive thoughts and ALL the answers(LOL)thru the airwaves. Good luck, you already survived licensure exam!

I want to thank you all for all the lovely support. I am getting ready to go now, and won't be back until after 6pm. I have no idea when I will learn the results of the final, but I will be sure to keep you posted!

Micro is definately in the DD category (Do and Dump). You will use very little of this in nursing. That is one of the courses all nurses remember. So don't feel your the only one who had a hard time with this course. Hope all went well

Hi Jared, yes all went well with micro. I don't know what I got on the final, but I got a C in the course, so I am NOT complaining. Thanks!
