last night i left work feeling defeated, stressed, overwhelmed. today i'm going into work with hopes that it will be a better day. i have to keep reminding myself that i will have my good days along with the bad. i'm also very blessed to have a full time job.

that's all. hope everyone who has to work have a good shift. even if it's not remember that there are better days ahead.

-take care and god bless.

you are so right. Attitude makes a lot of difference. The good news is that you can leave the "bad" at work.

I am a firm believer that you will have as good of a day as you decide to have.

Whereas ,I DO appreciate your enthusiasm and sentiment..

I've been trying this for years.

These are usually the days I tell my self I will only listen to one lung (in order to cut assessment time):).

Neither lasts for long.

If we all did not have bad days from time to time, great days, would not seem that great. Hope your next shift, or day is better.

I'm lucky to have some great coworkers. We tend to be able to get each other through the worst of shifts. We're very much of the attitude, "If we didn't laugh, we'd cry." So we laugh. And when it gets really bad, we laugh some more. :)

Just for everyone's enjoyment. I had a very good day today. A problem averted. Coworkers who were nice. And tomorrow is FRIDAY!

The best part about every bad shift is that it eventually ends. Hang in there!

I've tried the pep talk that goes: okay I'll get through today just fine. Med pass and charting. Keep your head down.

Invariably my day goes haywire and now I fear even to hope for a good day bc I feel I'm either setting myself up for disappointment or jinxing a decent shift.

Today was just as bad as yesterday if not worse. Maybe its' time for me to hang up my steth, and be a walmart greeter... If only it would pay me the the 32/hr I'm making now. -sigh-
