Just wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm Dawn, a RN but currently a sahm to my 2 boys. my husband is also a RN and he is travel/agency nursing. So we've been all over. I hope to go back to work PRN soon just to get out of the house, keep up my license, etc....I never knew there were boards just for nurses! I look forward to getting to know everyone!:D

I use to do traveling/agency nursing myself...as did (and do) many others here on Allnurses. There's a Travel Nurse Forum here, too, that your husband and you can check out!

Traveling nursing was so much fun to me, and for me! I learned a lot about different cultures, methods of nursing, etc. that I could not have learned behind the educational walls of an institution....as I'm sure your husband has already talked about with you. I wouldn't trade those times for anything. Who knows...maybe one day I will become a traveling nurse again. :)
