A fun what if question, we used to toss this around on night shift.

Specializes in CCU.

No way in hell's kitchen would I still work as a nurse. I would do volunteer work with animals.

Specializes in LTC Rehab Med/Surg.

I probably would a day or two a week. But the ability to CHOOSE would be glorious.

Specializes in Cath Lab/ ICU.
A very definite NO! I would take classes just for the fun of learning travel, volunteer, spend time with family/friends, develop other interests, and engage myself in hobbies. I sure wouldn't still continue working for pay, but I'd find enough to keep myself busy.[/quote']

Exactly. So many things to do in this big world, and so little time. I woukdn get to do all that I wanted, even with the big millions. I'm in love with this world! Must explore every nook and cranny!!

I've been asked this before and yes I would.

I get bored sitting in my house.

Sitting in your house? They you aren't doing it right! I wouldn't even own a house! Maybe a beach cottage, or house boat on Lake Union, backpacking Europe, visiting ancient cultures in S America, visiting every national park, every tourist trap, every beach, tasting all that food, taking every and any class that suited my fancy-photography, cooking, glass blowing....sitting at home? No way!

I would work for a bit after winning-I would finish up the one shift that I was on, and call it a day!!

See ya!!! The world is waiting for me! :)

Specializes in ICU, OR.

NO!!!

I would find something else to do. Volunteer, etc. Trust me, I can think of many things I would rather do with my time!
