A fun what if question, we used to toss this around on night shift.

Hard to know what you would really do, but I would need to still do something that involved helping people. I couldn't just sit around doing nothing. I enjoy working.

Yeah- I'd love to have the chance to find out!! I'm not able to work, but I'm sure I could stay busy with some extra cash!! And charities would be at the top of the list.... St. Judes, local crisis center, food bank.... :)

I'd probably volunteer in health care.

I say no now but give me a month (or less) and I would be bored out of my mind, begging to go back to work!

Me and my girlfriend were talking about this the other night. She is in nursing school, but has worked as a ward clerk, CNA, and ER Tech for the last 3 years, and I'm a nurse practitioner that works in ER (and was a ER nurse for 5 years before I finished school). She says she would. I said I would, but I'd open up my own clinic and provide low cost and free care to the uninsured in my local area (which is actually one of the poorest areas in my state, if not one of the most impoverished areas in the country. Plus, I woulnd't have to work for anyone, which I definitely wouldn't do if I had that much money! I think I would be bored, and out of my element, not working somewhere in healthcare

A very definite NO! I would take classes just for the fun of learning, travel, volunteer, spend time with family/friends, develop other interests, and engage myself in hobbies. I sure wouldn't still continue working for pay, but I'd find enough to keep myself busy.

I think I would stay involved in health care, but I would not WORK in health care. I would LOVE to take my RN license and work overseas or in areas of need and use my winnings to open clinics and help out that way, but like everyone else is saying...you never truely know what you would do until you are in that situation. Its nice to think about though!

I would take great satisfaction out of throwing my degree in the ocean.
I might even attach a chain and weights out of spite.
