I really hate to see how angry folks are and are cruel and feel justified being rude/crude and socially unacceptable. I appreciate the folks I have learned from, whatever the role they lived. Every (wo)man is my superior, in that I have learned from him. I forget who said that.
The attitude of negativity is more destructive and pervasive than ever. We who love making a difference for patients and other coworkers have the best place. We have the chance to change the world, one step at a time. I tell people out loud, "I love my job. I love nursing". I get strength from others who share the committment i feel. So thank you for this posting because our strength has more than increased 10 fold. Keep up the positive. After all, negativity was contagious, wasn't it? So we can spread around some positive and not be pollyannas. ( )
