How much is Ultimate Medical Academy charging in tuition and fees? Since most Florida hospitals pay new grad RNs less than $25/hourly, a nursing program with expensive tuition may not generate the return on investment that you want.

Approved does not necessarily mean accredited. If you graduated from a non-accredited ASN school, a BSN school may not accept you. Schools must be approved by a state board of nursing to operate. What you need is a school that's accredited by an an accrediting agency other than a BON.

I have already completed majority of their in program classes. So it'll take me at max a year & I believe about 10-15 thousand for that year

They are approved by Florida BON. And they are also accredited by multiple agencies including private and government but they aren't accredited by ACEN or CCNE

Accreditation from ACEN or CCNE is very important. However, it seems as if you've already made the decision to attend if the other schools do not extend acceptance. Good luck to you.

I haven't made my decision, I only wanted to give you the full information. But thank you for your response and help, I will keep my options narrowed to ACEN & CCNE accredited schools.

If you can't get into USF, UT, HCC, or St. Pete have Galen as your back-up. They're accredited now. I graduated from there and I've have no problem getting a job and moving on with my education. I'm getting my BSN at UTA right now.

I got into HCC and St. Pete but the wait list was roughly 2 years to actually start nursing classes. I needed to start now. The way it used to work, and I don't know if this is how it is now, is that you were told you qualified for a lottery of people accepted. Your number could come up the first cycle or it could come up in a year, etc. I went one cycle and my number didn't come up so I started Galen a month later. I couldn't wait, I needed to start now.

I was doing RN to BSN at St. Pete College but their scheduling didn't accommodate my work schedule very well. If you do UMA, you're limited to private schools.
