Decisions come out mid to late February like their regular admittance decisions. I remember the UF decisions for the freshman class admittance was on or near Valentine's Day back when I applied.

Yes the regular admittance usually happens around Valentine's day. And last year,my friend who got into the nursing program, told me she found out like late February. The nervousness is increasing lol

If any of the current UF nursing students are still paying attention to this thread, I have a quick question.

What's the simulation resources/sim lab like (in both campuses--but I'm personally interested if Jax also has the same stuff)? Do you have SimMan/SimBaby manikins or something similar? I imagine Gainsville does at least?

I emailed Kenneth and he said "Notifications will be released by the end of February via emailed letter."

Simulation is pretty decent at the Gainesville campus; we have all sorts of manikins with different purposes and features (i.e. some talk, give birth, have HR and RR, while some do not). I have heard from various people in Jax that the resources are not as great there and they certainly do not have as many manikins as we do in Gainesville, because we have twice as many people. To be honest, you learn 10x as much in the hospital than you ever will in any sim lab (unless you have simulation actors which we do not get access to on either campus), so I wouldn't worry about the sim experience too much. Both campuses have the same hours of clinical and that is the important thing.
