FSW Spring 2018

U.S.A. Florida

Published

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

So after we get our drug test, background and fingerprints we just wait for the 28th now?

That's how I understood it. Which doesn't make much sense to me since it will be too late to clear up any issues that may come up with the tests/checks by that point.

Do we know of any more info sessions?

Has anyone here finished all the to-do lists? May I ask you some questions?

1. I have a few social security alerts on my background check result. What are they? Do you have any of them as well?

2. On the to-do lists, under "FD87 Florida FDLE Fingerprints - Daon", the 4th step is incomplete. Are all of us waiting for the response from school on November 28th to complete step 4?

Thank you for your help. :)

1. My name was spelled incorrectly.

2. Don't worry about that. The same thing happened to me and I remember freaking out because the deadline passed and it still said incomplete. The school will change it.

Focus on uploading all of your immunizations and make sure you apply to the correct CPR class since there are different types.

Polo (any color) and khakis on practicum days. Lecture wear what you want. Clinicals wear your scrubs. That's what we do at the collier campus not sure if it's the same at the others.

Wen95, thank you! They spelled my name incorrectly on one of the social security alert, too. I called Castle Branch today, and they said it's not a problem and I will be okay. For the step 4 of fingerprint, we just need to wait for the school to decide whether we are eligible.

Hi guys. Received great news that a seat opened for Lee campus traditional. I made an appointment for the drug test & fingerprinting. I'm so excited! Now I have to figure out where I'm going to live  I applied for on campus housing, but if anyone is looking for roommates feel free to reach out.
