FSW Spring 2018

Published

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

Hi! I'm already in the program at the charlotte campus. Getting in is the hard part, I promise. GOODLUCK

Haha ya I hear you... That's why I'm hoping to hear from some other prospective applicants for next spring. So we can climb this mountain together. I plan to take my TEAS in the next couple weeks which I'm really looking forward to having done.

Which class schedule are you currently in at FSW, the day schedule or the new evening/weekend (ANEW) schedule?

The day schedule. And when I return I will be a level three student.

Hi,

I am a student looking into nursing schools for Spring 2018. Are you applying to the ASN program or the BSN? Would you recommend FSW to someone who lives a few hours away, and would have to relocate?

Their BSN is a bridge program . You have to do ADN first. But yes I would recommend it. They want you to succeed and don't try to fail you out like other programs I have heard about

Hey there!

Which campus would you be interested in applying to? I'm hoping to get into the evening/weekend program at the Charlotte campus. Though based on posts that I read, they only had an evening class at the Lee campus for the cohort that started this summer from what I understand. I hope that changes for spring 2018 and they have one at Charlotte as well.

After completing the ASN program I am planning to continue on by completing the BSN bridge program as well.

Heyy I'm looking forward to the ASN spring course 2018. I have about 3 more pre-reqs that I'm going to finish up this summer then I'm going to text in August. I'm applying for the Lee campus. Nervous but hopeful to get in ..,

Ok great! Its good to hear from you.

Have you taken the TEAS yet?

Not yet I plan to in August. Trying to finish pre-reqs as well as study for teas, this shall be interesting I look forward to this nursing program, we can do this ladies í ½í¸ƒ

Ya I hear you...I crammed for and took the TEAS within a 3 week time period between the spring and summer semester this year. I wanted to get it done so I don't have think about it over the summer. Just a suggestion, try and take it with enough time to do 2 attempts before the application period. That is why I wanted to take it early for my first time, so I would have enough time to do a retake before Sept if the first attempt didn't go well.

P.s I'm not a lady, but I do feel encouraged nonetheless. :)
