Hello, everyone. I am in the 2nd semester of the ANP in Chicago, Illinois. My newest instructor has asked my class to locate a fellow nursing student in another country and ask questions re: educational background and practice experience, future goals, and nursing issues. Is there anyone out there who can help? The instructor is basing one of our grades on our ability to obtain this connection. All the help that can be given would be greatly appreciated. I am at a loss on how to contact anyone. :imbar

We do not provide this service in locating others on this board. In fact, we value anonymity so much, staff remove personal identifying info from the board that members may place about themselves in order to protect their own identity. I wish you the best. Thread closed.

Wolfie is right; anonymnity is generally a VERY wise practice in the world wide web. With identity theft and other crimes on the rise, this is probably NOT the best way to find the person/information you seek. GOOD LUCK to you and welcome to allnurses.com!

anpstudent...i am going to refer you to our graduate student nurse forum if this is an assignment to interview another nurse. you may also check out our nursing student assistance forum as well for this. if you do contract with another nurse for an interview, please keep in mind the issue of confidentiality and anonymity. use our private message function to relay any indentifying info off the board and out of the eyes of the net. much appreciate. after discussion with staff, i will now open this thread.

and thanks for registering as a new member!

in our forums, you will find all the nursing news, support and direction that you will need as a new or seasoned nurse in the field. we have about 150 forums in total.

let this decision tree help you get started:

if you are a pre-nursing student--->we have a pre-nursing student forum.

if you are a current nursing student--->we have two forums for you.

1) general nursing student discussion forum

2)nursing student assistance forum to help with projects

if you are a current lpn--->we have the lpn/lvn corner forum and others of interest.

if you are a lpn to rn student---> we have a lpn to rn forum.

if you are a current rn--->we have many forums for you.

if you are an advanced practice nurse--->we have your specialty forum.

and lastly, our list of nursing specialties is exhaustive...each has its own forum.

our list of different forums is located here:---> allnurses list of forums

have a topic to discuss or question to ask? go to the list of forums, pick the forum that best matches, and post in there (pg 13 language always). you will get feedback. so, check back often.

to make a post in a forum, just go to that forum and post like you did here if someone has already created it...your post is a reply response.

to create your own new thread (the first post to start off feedback), you do this:

in any forum, go to the top yellow bar and towards the right, you will see something that reads--> forum tools. it is a pull down menu. click it. in that menu, you will see--> post a new thread. click that.

and there you go.....just follows what it tells you.

Try posting in the Canadian, UK, or Australian/New Zealand forums here. I'm sure there will be a student from one of those countries there who can help you.

Thanks for your help. I will try!
