What is dlsii-online? Any reason you didn't go directly through Excelsior?

I used DLSII and found it extremely helpful. Just read your study guide front to back and attend/watch your class. I felt it really helped me. ;)

I used them too. Just read the study guides and reference texts.

Use their practice exams and also take the Excelsior practice tests.

I just enrolled in DLSI...im taking A&P right now...I'm glad to hear that it worked for other people, it makes me feel like there is hope for me :)

JustBeachyNurse,

If it is the same as the one a friend of mine used back in 2008, I think it is a program that provides study guides and classes that teaches students how to study for the exams. She spent $5000 on that program and attended the study sessions twice a week at a physical location. Again, if this is the same program.....

Sounds like Achieve Test Prep that people have been posting about lately.

If the additional cost is within your budget (not covered by financial aid but some of these companies offer financing and/or non educational private loans) and they offer the test preparation format that works for you, then you have a worthwhile investment in your education.

Excelsior does not endorse or recommend the use of outside companies (some of these company reps inaccurately imply affiliation or endorsement) but for as many people who find the additional services a waste of time/money you will find just as many students who have found success using outside test prep services.

Just like some people study independently for the SATs or the NCLEX, others use test coaching or test prep services to achieve their goals.

Not every method of test prep or coaching works for every student. Knowing what works for YOU is half the battle

To the original poster, Good luck in your educational endeavors.
