We all have stressful jobs. And we all have our own ways of relieving that stress. Some of us enjoy a good work out, some a glass of wine, others meditate. What's your go-to for stress relief?

Playing with the cats
Playing with the little boys next door
Reading to the little boys next door or having the older two read to me for practice reading
Listening to classical music
Listening to rock music
Playing board games or card games with my husband
Hiking in the woods or along the hiking/dog walking trail

Morning yoga and then a day at the spa with a massage and facial, while my little ones spend the day with nana. Actually this is the plan for this Friday!

Spending time with my nursing friends outside of work doing things unrelated to nursing.

Dance, rollerblading at the beach, yoga….anything to keep my energy flowing and body moving.
Lately, I have been loving archery. It focuses my mind like nothing else.
When the stress is REALLY bad, I get acupuncture treatments for stress and I feel like a zen-master afterwards :-)

Whiskey and ginger ale on my back patio. I prefer Bullitt or Jack. If not that, then a nice cold microbrew, maybeBell's or New Belgium.
