Camp Nickname for GS Nurse (silly)

Ok...just for sheer entertainment...( I warned you, this is some silly stuff)

I'll be working at a Girl Scout camp this summer, where every staff member has a camp nickname (to protect their privacy and just for fun). In the past I've had friends with names that reflected their personality: Mac (who liked Mac computers), Peanut (had a nut allergy), Shamrock (was Irish), and Sponge (loved Sponge-Bob). I've had friends named Kool-Aid, Moose, Squirrel, Rocky, Fudge, Chugs, Bug, Treasure, Daisy...you name it.

NOW I'm looking for a nickname that relates to my role as camp nurse. So far my ideas are pretty lame. Any ideas would be appreciated. Yes I realize this is a silly thread but it'll help!

Here are my ideas:

Siren
Ace (bandage) ha!
Band-aid
Tweezer
Crutch
Crash
Phoenix
Wren (get it, RN, wren?)

So if you are feeling creative (or silly or dumb) just leave your ideas. I'm running low!

Ok, I like your idea of Tweezer, or Ace. All I came up with was "Green Blood" I remember when in GS that they used to say, true girl scouts have "green blood", and your a nurse, so I'm sure you will see some blood, or girls with "monthly" problems LOL

OK --my camp name is Nurse Ratchette--One Flew East, One Flew West, One flew over the Cuckoo's nest...The parents laugh and I tell the kids that one day they will see a movie or read a book and then remember me as Nurse Ratchette

I like Phoenix and Wren... kinda rubs me the wrong way when camp nurses choose something "negative" for their camp name, or something too first-aidy, since we do a lot more than that. One I thought about was "Gale", for Nightingale.

Hello,

I wanted to use my name on this foum, Care Bear, but that was taken. Then I tried Boo Boo, but that was taken as well, =~/. So then the gals and I chatted, and the subject of the TV show Scrubs came up, and I love that show, so that's who I am at camp now. Scrubs. I like it. I brought an older set of scrubs of mine, and have the counselors and girls (It's a girls scout camp) write on it. It will be a nice keep sake of my camp nursing days.

Liz Ryan

P.S. This is not silly at all. If you don't have a camp name the counselors can be quite ornery with coming up with a name for you, lol.

Hi,

The School Nurse supply company has a cute poster with an owl as a nurse and it states,

Owl take care of you!

The girls loves the name "owl" and liked seeing the poster of the owl nurse.

I was Band-aide a couple of years ago at a non-scout camp. Spelled aide that way on purpose.

I love the idea of the scrubs and the kids and counselors signing them. Very cool.

Have fun.
