Sorry, the link is connected to my login. It appears to be personalized, so I would suggest you guys access your application profile on the UCLA HR website and maybe you can get it from there. :(

Good luck!

HELP! I applied earlier this evening, and I didn't get a prompt about the assessment either! Even though all my documents are received. Anyone hear anything about them maybe sending us a link to the assessment??

Don't worry guys! I called HR because I did not get the prompt for the assessment either and they said it isn't working and that it isn't important to complete it and that our applications will still be processed without it. :) Good luck to us all! Which units did you pick? I picked L&D, PICU, and Peds (in that order!). I hope they contact us sooner than later, I hate the waiting game!!

Thanks for the info, annalyn.Victoria! :)

Thanks for the info on the assessment! I filled it out and submitted my application and it said that it worked except the assessment. Where are you all applying from? Also, what have you all done for experience to better your resume?

mine says "Awaiting Assessment Completion" also. i was lucky enough to be taken to the survey/assessment right after i filled in the app. fingers crossed. i applied to the Surg ICU, Neuro ICU, and CCU.

Hey all. Wow, finally hit submit!!

I applied to ER, Cardiothoracic ICU, and Medical ICU.

I am currently a nurse extern on a sugical/tele floor at Sharp Memorial in San Diego, and have my critical care rotation on MICU and Neuro/trauma.

Unfortunately I didn't have the choice to pick SICU or it would of been a top choice of mine!!

Good luck to you all :)

I am applying from the Bay Area but I am originally from Southern California (born and raised!) and moved up here for nursing school. I wonder if they give preference to locals? If so, I hope I am still considered a local!!

Nursestudent2011: I am applying locally, and currently working a desk job at another hospital. Did an entire semester's worth of clinical rotations in critical care and step-down units. Applied to CTICU, SICU and MICU. :)

I talked to the coordinator for the program at NSNA's conference this past fall. She told me it's not likely to get an ICU position unless you have clinical or work experience in an ICU. Apparently the fast pace has been difficult for some new grads in the past.

HI EVERYBODY!

I ALSO APPLIED TO THE UCLA NEW GRAD SUMMER RESIDENCY PROGRAM! AHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED.

UCLA totally welcomes new grads in all of the ICUs. I work at UCLA as a CNA/Care Partner and have talked to many new grads in the Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, CT ICU, etc. So don't worry about not getting ICU just because you are a new grad.

Anyone else also work at UCLA as a Care Partner?
