Wow!! Haha, I just have to laugh at the fact that there were 1000 applicants within the first 24 hours! I'm glad I applied as soon as it opened! I'm applying from Iowa, but I'm moving to LA area this summer. Sounds like the ICUs are going to be competitive. Anyone have any other new grad programs they are applying for? It's good to know that if we don't hear anything by the end of the first week of April that we probably didn't get considered for a position. :nurse:

hey all! i'm working on applying for the UCLA residency, too! 1,000 applicants in 24 hours?! WOW, competitive! i'm applying from madison, WI and hoping for L&D, NICU or OR! :) good luck to everyone! (and great idea to whoever started this thread!) :yeah:

I just got an email from UCLA that TalentPlus will be contacting me for a phone interview! I'm guessing this is a good sign! :) I hear the TalentPlus interviews are hard. Anyone else get an email from UCLA or hear anything about the TalentPlus interview process?

Congratulations on the good news so quickly. I thought I had received a similar email, but it was just a job alert email...how disappointing. Ha.

What does your status say under the application status? Mine still says "awaiting assessment completion" even though it was submitted as soon as I applied. And where are you from? Local? Thanks.

I am applying from the Midwest. I was told to apply early so I made sure I was ready to apply at 9am my time. They didn't open it right at 9 so I waited about 30 mins and as soon as it was open I submitted my application. Congrats Goody86 on getting the first interview as well!

I never saw anything about an assessment though... to what are you referring to?
