Does anyone know of any permanent job openings in Southern California hospitals? I have 1 year experience and specialize in CVOR and Opthalmology. I really would like to get out there by the end of September!

I was accepted into the residency program and start on October 17th! I'm in the OR and could not be happier! Good luck to everyone applying, and be sure and go to the open house!!! I received a call yesterday that I was accepted into the OR Residency at Seton Medical Center Austin. :) When I spoke with HR, she mentioned that many units haven't started interviewing yet, so try not to panic, i always think of Dory in Finding Nemo "Just Keep Swimming" until you get a call from the HR department. Good Luck to all of you, I know we are all going to make fantastic nurses!

I'm not sure about calling to check and see about what units are interviewing at this time...but I wouldn't freak out if you haven't received a call. I guess you could call HR and see if they know anything...but then again, it's only the middle of August. I think it went well...it was really quick though. About 30 minutes long. They said that they'd be making their decisions and let us know by the end of the week. So, I guess we will see! Fingers crossed!

I received a call last friday for an interview in the OR at Seton Medical Center - Austin. The interview is tomorrow afternoon. I'll let you all know how it goes! I remember at the open house that they said the dates on the website were just dates for the managers to follow and the ONLY set date was the start date...October 17th. So, don't lose hope! has anyone heard anything from the units they interviewed on??

I called HR today and spoke with Melissa from the nurse recruiters office. She said that the assessment is gone and cannot be accessed at this time by anyone. She said not to worry about the fact that I didn't get the assessment and that all applications would be sifted through and if they needed any info from us that they would contact us. Hope that information helps!

HELP! I applied earlier this evening, and I didn't get a prompt about the assessment either! Even though all my documents are received. Anyone hear anything about them maybe sending us a link to the assessment??

I got accepted at the beginning of March! I'm SO nervous, but extremely excited! Is there anyone staying on campus?? I know I am for the first year at least.

Yeah I got that email today and I replied like they said to, but yes it did seem a little strange since we already sent them money! haha oh well!
