UC Davis 2012

U.S.A. California

Published

hello fellow new grads,

just wondering if anyone has heard anything from UC Davis for the new grad program starting in 2012!

I'm kicking myself for missing the deadline in February :(

Mine says the same 070-offer. Really geting sick of interpreting these HR codes!!

Last cohort group went up to over 1,100 applicants and only 29 jobs....and that 29 is broken down into just a few here and there amongst the various units. Good luck to all!

It's unfortunate that UCDavis changes the codes on a general basis and not a specific case by case basis. :/

Now mine says 010-open. ???

maybe they want to keep us on our toes. :/

status has changed back to 020 applied

Me too! It changed to "Open" yesterday, and now it's back to "Applied". Man oh man I want to work here!

someone on fb called davis this morning and was told, "

[color=#333333]uc davis is targeting to call for interviews the end of march or beginning of april ."

that's in the next 1-2 weeks so hang tight people!

There's been a change! Status now says 050 - Route, which means "The Recruiter has reviewed the applications and forwarded suitable candidates to the hiring manager for review"

Soo, can I call HR and see if my application has been routed? I don't want to wait anymore if I've been already rejected...

With this program beginning June 4th, I dont think theres anyway I would have my license by then (Graduating May 19 and taking NCLEX as soon as possible). Still I doubt I will get my eligibility to test, take the NCLEX and get my license in that time frame. Any one have any insight on how long it takes after taking the NCLEX to get your licence? Glad they're having another program in October, but hoping to have a job before then...

vwgirl22 - I graduated may 21st (or something like that). It took a couple of weeks for me to receive my eligibility to test and then I took the NCLEX mid-june (I believe). I found out I officially had my license at the end of the month. I don't want to be a downer, but I don't think you can make it. Do you have an interim permit? Does Davis accept those? Because if they do, then you would be fine.
