UC Davis 2012

hello fellow new grads,

just wondering if anyone has heard anything from UC Davis for the new grad program starting in 2012!

They are alive over at UCD....received a call today to set up an interview on a med/surg floor. A former classmate of mine did as well. Wasn't were I indicated I wanted to work on my cover letter but I'll take it!

Awesome!!! Congrats! When did you graduate? Did you go to an in state school or out of state? Fingers crossed they make some more phone calls :)

I got REALLY excited because I read that some people got calls from UC Davis for interviews. I go to my phone to check my voicemails and it's UC Davis!! I got really excited for a second, and then realized that it was just a reminder call for an ultrasound appointment I have tomorrow at 9am. Hahahaha, I need a vacation from all this new grad stuff. Got way too excited for nothing!

I'm so excited that they are finally calling! I applied for peds so hopefully they will be making those calls soon! I've got my fingers crossed for all of us!

Just called HR, I was told that the general status of the applications are still being routed. I was interested in oncology and was told that the oncology unit hasn't requested for a new grad yet since they hired 4 last cohort in January. sighhhhhhhhh :/

Just called HR and was told that the PICU and pediatrics units did not request a new grad, that there are less total positions than there were for the last application cycle, and that there were 700+ applicants.

Yikes! It's sad that they have less positions than last cycle. Well, cross this one off my list.
