I am curious to hear from other nurses on what hospitals have great images and possibly what hospitals need to a reputation overhaul! Thanks... Read More

Umm, it would about the last hospital I'd recommend.
I worked there, and have done 3 semesters of clinicals there. In addition, I took my critical class there. Only a few good floors there-what's your specialty?
Would you consider another hospital?
- 0Nov 13, '06 by arys1075Quote from cardiacRN2006Thanks for reply. Yes I live currently here in England. I don't have any idea about TMC yet, but I will try to work there. As soon as I get visa, I would start to work in Tucson by January. I also worked in Southeast Asia and Middle East. So far, I found Dubai hospitals to be the best, bigger and cleaner hospitals in the whole middle east that I worked. My specialty is in General Theatre (UK) or Operating Room (US). What L&D means?Ok, I just realized that I responded to your post a little while ago in another forum! You live in the UK?
ER, OR, and L&D are the only floors that are good. (IMO).
- 0Nov 20, '06 by arizonanurseI've heard good things about Scottsdale and St. Joe's, as well as Mesa General. I did clinicals at Chandler OR and they were great; they kept asking me when I was going to come and work there. The med/surg at Chandler was not so great. I worked as an extern at Banner Baywood when I was in nursing school and would not recommend it - VERY high turnover, most of the nurses had been there less than 6 months and several left while I was there. Casa Grande has a bad local reputation - I've never worked there but have heard enough horror stories that I never would. I work at the IHS hospital in Sacaton and love it; the nurses and doctors are great (for the most part). I started there straight out of nursing school and everyone was really helpful to me as a new grad.

It's been a while since I've been there. Do you live close by?
