Just wondering what is the longest anyone has had to wait for I-140 approval?

I think I should be in the record books or is there someone out there with the same problem:imbar

Great news I am really pleased for you :balloons:

thanks, bettyboop!- and i really am hoping that your approval will come through very soon!

This is a record i don't want to hold:o beside one other person who had there papers filed wrong, I don't know anyone who has waited as long as we have.

Here's hoping the next few stages are the shortest.

hope it goes well for you. Although not going still going through with approval as already paid for and file transferred to texas and still waiting, if it hadn't been for first hospital backing out husband wouldn't have changed his mind and would already be out there :angryfire Started this process 3 years ago

Although i joined OGP in June 2004 actually started this whole process in September 2003 on my own, only went with OGP because they offered green cards for all the family, I see them as a means to an end and nothing more.

That sounds awful:imbar , but we all have our own agenda, as do OGP. Just relieved to see some of us with OGP are at last receiving their I-140's. Fingers crossed any day now.

It's a shame you signed up with OGP on the basis they offer green cards for the family. This is not something peculiar just to OGP.....your family still get a green card even if you go through the immigration process independently, with no agency involved. OGP weren't interested in me when I first started the process, reason being I was working as a Community Nurse and they would only accept nurses who were currently working in a hospital environment. They ended up doing me a favour because I went for direct hire and my husband got a green card also, even though he hasn't got a job (yet).....and from start to finish, took me 17 months. And it doesn't sound awful that you see them as a means to an end......there's plenty of :twocents: in it for them, they are not doing you any big favours, don't let them tell you otherwise. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon :)

Hello everyone, Finally my attorney filed I140/485 concurrently with NSC. The receipt notice for I140 states "Immigrant petition for Alien Worker" section: Skilled worker or Professional, Sec.203 (b)(3)(A)(i) or (ii).

The question I have is that my I-140 receipt notice DOES NOT mention anywhere about Schedule A for Nurses. Would anybody help ADVISE looking at your I-140 what it states? does it state Schedule A or does the Sec mentioned is SAME for you all?

Any help would greatly releif my anxiety. Thanks a Ton.
