You know you are a Covid nurse when:

Your "coworker" is not above wearing disposable underwear under a makeshift pillowcase hair cover when they forget their surgical cap and the unit is out of disposal hair covers šŸ¤£

Need some humor in this mess.

Anytime you take off your mask in the break room to eat you think, I wonder how much Covid is actually in here...dun dun duhn. But you continue to eat anyway.

Early Covid, Management says: No masks on the floor out of patients rooms, especially not your own masks from home.

During Covid: Masks mandatory everywhere, and by the way, we don't actually have enough, so...if you could just bring yours from home...yah, that would be great.

This thread needs @Davey Do because I'm screaming trying to picture the makeshift underwear under the pillowcase. šŸ˜‚

Yeah, NurseBlaq- I'm having difficulty visualizing the disposable underwear under the pillowcase, when it seems to be more of a prudent move to wear the the disposable underwear over the pillowcase due to the elasticity.

When your kid sends you to work with their favorite squirt gun so you can function as an effective storm trooper and zap the germs....

When you're on paid leave for 2 weeks of isolation/quarantine and your family/community keeps trying to send you food/gifts to help ease the suffering of their 'hero', but you're actually just chilling in your PJs using your shirt as a plate/napkin for your freezer full of microwave pizza and learning all the TikTok dances

You sit down in breakroom & start to eat forgetting youā€™re wearing a mask. Again.

I love it! And it does make more sense.

For a visual, it was very nun looking. šŸ‘‡
