York University 2nd Entry Nursing 2014

Hi everyone!

Interested to know who else will be applying for the 2nd entry program at York U for Fall 2014!

Nope haven't heard back from Trent or Humber. I have a Physiology course from UofT so i just need a 0.5 Anatomy course. Right now I am leaning towards the York's Kine 2031 to fulfill my Anatomy prerequisite this spring. But for UofT, Anatomy is not a requirement right? i'll send them a proof of enrollment once I've registered just because they 'strongly' recommend an Anatomy course.

did u hear anything from trent yet? Are you thinking of doing the AnP course for Uft because I know the humber program makes you take that during the prep semester. You should ask UfT for the deadline to complete all the prereqs.

I talked to humber and they said it will take them around 2 more weeks to calculate my gpa. It depends how long ago you applied because I applied late (1st week of Feb). And yes I double checked the website and it does not mention the anatomy course as a requirement (for UofT). Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Everyone,

I got an acceptance to Trent a week or two ago. I applied to York and U of T as well. But Trent looks really great and there is an option for a thesis which I am really excited about!

Anyone else hear yet? I'd love to know where they are in terms of offers - and what I mean by that is what gpa they are at :) I had 75 overall and 82 on last 10 and I was actually told by an admissions representative that with those marks I wouldn't have a problem so I'd love to hear from those who have been accepted so far as to what they had. The rolling offers of admission that York does makes it harder because at least with most programs you will know as of a set date - this checking every day thing is much more difficult to take! :)

Would you mind sharing your cumulative GPA and GPA in last 30 credits? And I assume that you're an external applicant?

I got an offer in York and another in Queen's. Do you know which placement is more easy? I heard many students failed in the placement. I need decide in this weekend.
