Hi everyone!
Interested to know who else will be applying for the 2nd entry program at York U for Fall 2014!
I just sent out my application for York's second-entry nursing program (as well as Western) to start in fall 2014! I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Honours Biomedical Sciences and took all of the prerequisites during this degree. My cGPA was a 9.1, which I believe is an A and my last 30 credits equaled a 9.5
Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well and studying hard. I am an internal applicant and I just applied to York's second entry program. Currently, I stand at a 6.66 in my cumulative and most likely a 7.5 in my last 30 by the end of this term. I am aware that the program is really competitive. I was wondering if anyone knows any other internal applicants who have gotten into the program with similar marks in the past.
I heard that for external applicants (meaning those that have either graduated from York or will be graduating this year + all students from other universities) the acceptances will start going out in March. However for those that are still completing their degrees and are not graduating this year (internal applicants), acceptances will only come sometime in May because the faculty has to see final grades so all internal applicants will be waiting for some time.
Hope everyone get's their 1st choices! :) I accepted my offer to York yesterday (was admitted January 20th and the offer expires today). Really excited to be in! My first choice is Western as well, and I'm waiting to hear back. Apparently, if needed, you can cancel your acceptance through OUAC and by calling York. I was concerned about this because I had to accept my offer so early. Fully prepared to go to York at this point though, overall, it looks like an awesome program. Looking forward to finding who else is accepted and best of luck to all!

Hey Sahar, go to HNES building to the 3rd floor. There are usually two receptionists there who can definitely help you out with your situation.
