Hi everyone!

Interested to know who else will be applying for the 2nd entry program at York U for Fall 2014!

is it necessary to get in without having full 10 year courses?

If that is part of the requirements (if that is what they wrote) then I would say yes. Everything must be completed which means that even if you get an early acceptance but do not complete everything before the start date of your program then you can lose your spot.

I don't think you need 10 full year courses. I'm only taking 4 per semester and I just got accepted today. For those of you who are still waiting and wondering about admission averages, I had a 9.1/10 GPA last yr (A+, equivalent to 4.0 GPA?). My cGPA is 8.4 out of 10 (A-, corresponds to somewhere above 3.7 GPA). I have accepted the offer b/c of they only give a 1 week deadline, but I might end up cancelling it b/c I also got into U of A. I'll need to take some time to decide....

Hello. I am going to be taking the bio 2905 in the summer time, can you please give me so advice. Also im not into biology and so this is going to be totally new to me apart from some knowledge from highschool. And do u have the textbook still?

Hey Karina, not sure if you were asking me or the poster above, but I'm graduating this yr with a BSc in Psych. Don't have a prior degree.

Has everyone heard from York U? My status still states "No Decision Yet"

I was accepted on Monday. It seems they are doing several rounds of offers. I'm pretty sure the admissions office has ranked the candidates....people with prior degrees and good grades got in first, etc. If you have good grades, I'm sure you'll hear from them sooner than later. :)

Okay. Anyone know the cut-off GPA?

They say the cut off is B....There are a lot of people applying with B/B+ averages though....Most of my friends are in that category...so when it comes down to competing with similar grades prerequisite marks etc. matter...If you are finishing any prerequisite make sure you get a high mark....
