York, Pa open again for CPNE

I had a date of June 25 in Utica for the cpne but had not accepted yet, called this am, spoke to Evelyn who said they have dates for York Pa, I said "I thought they were closed!" she said no they are scheduling again,WHAT! I am now scheduled for May 7, OMG!

I hope they make some kind of effort to publicize this news. It is like one of Indiana Jones' adventures trying to find the CPNE application with site info on the website as it is.

Ok, should I call the NPAC and tell them I would be willing to do York, then? It wasn't an option when I was requesting sites. If I could get a May date, that would be awesome! How long did you wait to get your date?

I would definitely call them if you want to test at York. Since nobody knows about them reopening yet, there are going to be openings.

Yes Lisamc1, go for it! I would definitely call them 1st thing in the AM. York just got opened up, did you accept a date already though? I didn't wait for a date, I uploaded application & everything was accepted so I called them, & they gave me a date on the phone of 6/25. On 2/17 they sent the email with the confirmation packet & since I wanted something sooner I decided to call today & see if they had any cancellation dates before I faxed the papers over!

That is phenomenal news!!! I can't adequately express how awesome my experience at York was. The CE's were great. I was sad when they announced no more York. Students who get to go to York will totally enjoy it. Well, as long as you're well prepared for the exam that is.
