Hello Everyone,
Here for some support and helpful advise. I graduated nursing school 6 years ago and I haven't passed the NCLEX I've always been close in passing, but always fail
I've taken course reviews like Hurst (Back in 2015), read Saunders Nclex prep books,. Back in 2011 at my nursing school we did ATI, I have the books still, but do not have access to the study courses. I'm afraid after all these years things have change in the nursing world. I feel discourage that I will never pass this test. My nursing career has been at a hold and everytime I'm at healthcare setting and see all the nurses I tell myself that could me. Is there anyone out there that can help me out with good resources, or recommend books that will help me pass the next time I take this test later this year. I Will truly appreciate it :)
email me at [email protected] and i will give u some valuable information. i was 2 yrs put with my lpn nclex and very frustrated. got past it and i am now getting ready to take the rn one here shortly. wish i had found this info when i was studying for the lpn.
My suggestion is that you NEVER GIVE UP! Yes, it's been 6 years and yes, you've failed 6 times. The truth of the matter is that you may need to study the patho of systems and go from there. There are plenty of study material out there. The race is not given to the swift or the strong, but to the one that ENDURETH to the end. NEVER GIVE UP! Just because a person is able to pass NCLEX, does not mean they are a competent nurse.
It's a one year program and you've spent six years not passing. If I were in your position and didn't want to give up, I think I'd just put myself through another LVN program. Time has not done you any favors, so far ...and statistically, your odds of passing are super-slim. You may have a fundamental lack of knowledge. Correct it, and then try again.
I agree ^^^ Take the program again.
I graduated nursing school in 2011, i have you beat by a year. Never ever give up, EVER... If nursing is your passion then you keep trying. Shame on these other adults telling you otherwise. I just took NCLEX-PN in California for the 4th time.. yup FOURTH, and will take it as many times as i have to. I took it Saturday(its monday today) i left the test center with tears and broke down in my car, I have no idea how I did I got a lot of SATA (select all that apply questions) and pharmacology. I did the pvt trick and i got the good pop up this time, its not a pass until i have the letter in my hands but if i failed, you better believe im taking it asap. You have to get uworld, HAVE TO trust me it is so helpful you wont regret it. I am so broke so it hurt to pay the $100 but i will buy it again in a heart beat. I have done two refresher courses in the past and also last year, the school I graduated from allowed me to attend a NCLEX-PN prep class at no charge. Uworld was the most helpful route. Good luck and I can't wait to hear back that you passed #stayhopeful#prayerisstrong
