Achoo!, LPN

I just got a letter in the mail informing me that that is how long the wait is now. I haven't gotten my number yet. What to do?? I have one pre-req left to go. Should I apply to the LPN program and hope tpo bridge in to the RN program later?? I do not want surgical tech, x ray tech or another field. I want ADN. So frustrating

Achoo,
I am in a similar situation. There may not be an ADN program at my school for the fall. I can't afford to wait so I am doing the LPN and will bridge after the program is reaccredited. I have to get to work quickly and I want to do it in a hospital setting. If you decide to do the LPN, it'll get you ahead of all your class mates once you are in the ADN program! (at my school, you eliminate the entire first year if you're an LPN!!).
Good luck!

Same situation here. I actually just called the counselor and he informed me the LPN program is just as bad now, so there is no point in applying and getting the LPN out of the way. Sit and wait.. sit and wait...
Are there any other schools around? I have other schools that are options, although I have to take MORE pre-reqs:angryfire I am so afraid of organic chemistry I'm even thinking BSN...gulp:imbar .
The other school in the same price range has CLOSED applications they are so booked. I don't have the $$ for a private college. It's just not feasible. I'll have to suck it up and wait. Guess I can work and put some money aside in the meantime. I just hope when they finally call my name, I'll still have the drive and ambition. Starting and stopping is so tough!
Good for you thinking about BSN, if you can, why not go for it right??
