Hi everyone! Wanted to start this conversation for those who are getting ready to apply once the application opens on June 1st 2021.

I am hoping we can all share information, ask questions, and support each other throughout the exciting journey ahead!

I don't have anything in my portal but I also didn't know all the forms had to be filled out, oops!

was all merit aid emailed today?

I don't have anything in my portal (didn't fill out the forms yet ) but the email said merit aid is independent of that, so I was wondering if that was all completed and sent out already.

Can you ask for an extension on something like this? I am waiting to hear from Vanderbilt and also need an extension.

I had no idea these forms needed to be filled out either.... AH!!!

I did fill out the forms back in December and still didn't get anything. so frustrating!

Would anyone who received a letter in their portal tonight and got an aid award be willing to say how much they got? I don't even have an idea about how much it might be but really wanted to know so I can make a decision next week.

My "awards" were all loans. I do believe they are including any merit or need-based aid in the letter, because it laid out cost of attendance, EFC and then how you will pay for it.

I received 13,000 in need based, didn’t see anything about merit snd the rest is loans

I received a letter and it states a need based scholarship of 12,336.

Did it lay out total cost of attendance? If so, can someone say how much it states? I messed up and didn’t submit want to know the ball park range of what it will be
