Hi! wow thank you for this insight I have been trying to get ahold of someone who went to both, so this is really helpful to hear. I plan to probably live in the Bay area when I'm done with school, and I have been worried about UCSF preference when I am back in the Bay but I am seeing a lot of people who went to Yale working here so I am feeling like it might not be a huge deal. May I ask which program you are going with??

Yes, that's been my experience with Yale too. Great communication and overall just feeling excited about it because of how admin has been and how organized its been thus far. I am also in the Bay and originally wanted to stay local but now feeling incredibly excited to see what life is like on the East Coast.

I am leaning heavily towards Yale. This whole thing isn't the reason but it's not helping. It sounds like aid is super small, and we don't even get financial aid letters until a couple of weeks before the program starts, and we are not a priority? That doesn't feel great. I am a planner and I want to compare price tags, FA packages, and overall vibe etc.
