is vanderbilt doing interviews?

UMass interview went great, the faculty were so nice and made me feel so comfortable.

I don't think Vanderbilt does interviews! Congrats on UMass though -- im from MA and it's a great school ?

Does anyone know Yale’s policy on vaccination status? My doctor has advised that I cannot be vaccinated due to a genuine medical reason, and I have also recently had and recovered from the virus. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge on that, current students are welcome to chime in. Thanks in advance ?

My interviewer mentioned offhand that they had been allowing limited exceptions but she was unsure if they would continue to do so with the current spread. She said it was not possible to provide clinical placements that didn't have covid + patients. If your doctor said you cannot be vaccinated they might grant you an exception

I figure in my case they wouldn’t have a problem making an exception. I wonder how they go about things with those who go for a  religious exemption. *shrug*

Not me checking my application portal for an update even though interviews are not even done yet ? not sure why but I am so much more stressed this time around waiting for a decision! They said interviews were from Jan 4-18. Anyone else think its kinda wild that last interviews are approx 2 weeks before final decisions go out? They make such life changing decisions so quickly!

I know- I’m stressed! It’s crazy to think that I feel my interview went so well, but god only knows what the interviewer thought…… you know?? UMass stated applicants won’t find out until MARCH! So long and drawn out

My interview is tomorrow and I am beyond stressed and nervous. I keep feeling like I will blank out and not know what to say but I need to remind myself that these answers should come from my heart and not be so fixated on 'perfect' responses; Yale is looking to get to know us, not to be impressed by responses that aren't unique to ourselves. Hoping for the best-- grateful for this little bubble of support!! You guys are awesome and more than enough, hope you never forget it ?

You got this! Try not to get hung up on memorizing  a script! They obviously saw something in you to interview you, so just be yourself! I had my interview this morning and it was super relaxed- really just a conversation. You got this!!

Yes! This is exactly my fears! I’ll never know what the interview thought or her take on our interview ?

I feel this! Rooting for you, and hoping the next 2-3 weeks fly by.
