Hey all! I am reapplying and wanted to create this for everyone applying. I won't be as involved as I was last year, but good luck to everyone! I know they're having seminars and allowing people to schedule one on one consultations for applications.

Pretty sure just over zoom or whatever system they use. You talk to someone.

They will use zoom. We received notification around 12/18 last year about if we had an interview or not. We received emails about our zoom info the beginning of January. I interviewed around 1/9ish. Final word came on Sunday 1/26 for all of us.

We’re you accepted?

@kc_FNPtobeI totally understand that about plans, especially in light of everything going on! That's awesome! Not only did people speak up but the fact that action was taken is awesome. Really???? I'm shocked that med and pa are allowed to have pass/ fail for more classes. Yeah for someone like me who usually does bad on the first test ( figuring out how to study/ overall anxiety), knowing I can retake one provides some relief. Do you feel there is camaraderie amongst the cohort and campus community in general?
I'm the same way about the first exam! I "failed" my first pharm exam (70), but got a 94 on our last one so my new average is 82...phew! I did not use the retake option for pharm, so that is still in my back pocket if I do poorly on either of the next 2 exams. There is a good sense of camaraderie. Everyone finds their "people" who share like-situations, like-causes, etc. Overall, very welcoming among students.
I went back through my e-mails. We ALL heard about having an interview or not on 12/12. The interview was conducted through your application portal - sorry about the misinformation about that. Everything else Yale does is via Zoom. Interviews were conducted over the course of 1-2 weeks. Mine was on 1/9. Final decisions for all came on Sunday morning 1/26. It was highly suggested to send a thank you note to your interviewer afterward, which I did. I saved a lot of my correspondence so if anyone has any other timeline questions feel free to ask. I believe the application deadline is longer than last year, so the timeframes can be somewhat different.

Is everyone's resume only 1 page? I notice it says resume or CV so I'm wondering if 2 pages is OK...I've been out of college 3+ years so I have a lot to put
Mine is multiple pages too. I'm also a non-trad student so I tried to really condense the important pieces, and it still came out to more than a page.

Personally I think of CVs as being for academics who have publications to list off. I cut my down to 1 page. That said, I don't think you'll irk anyone having it longer, especially if you have a lot of experiences to detail.
