WSSU 2020 ABSN

Just wanted to see if anyone was applying to WSSU ABSN program? Wanted to see where folks were applying/possibly planning to move from, and what is your general work background?

I'm from Winston Salem, with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. I've done some work as a social worker in the mental health, hospital case management setting and also on the insurance side of social work. Good luck to everyone on submitting applications!!!

Congrats to all of you accepted! Unfortunately I wasn’t. Out of curiosity, would you all mind sharing your prereq gpas and bachelor (and master) gpas. I’d like to see if I fall in line with those who were accepted. Thank you and best of luck to all of you!

I was denied as well. Sincerest of luck to all who got in! You all rock!! Going to cross my fingers for the other schools I applied too ? And my overall GPA was a 3.65 but my pre reqs were much lower, I think that was the reason behind me getting denied.

Hello all I too was denied. However Northeastern University in Charlotte has three enrollment periods and is currently accepting applications for the spring( it starts in January) It’s on a rolling basis too so the sooner you apply the sooner you can know! Good luck to everyone!! Here’s the website for those interested that didn’t get in and yes it’s an absn program but 16months instead. & Queens University application opens December 5!

My overall is a 3.5 and prereq is a 3.61. Best of luck and blessings to you in the future! Don’t give up!
