Okay, So I hope someone can help me with my question. I have been in Community County College for about 2 years completing my pre-Nursing Req's. I just found out that soon I will be done with them and would have to wait 4 1/2 years to enter Nursing school. My questions is would it be easier for me just transfer to a 4 year college and once I have a BSN will that allow me to work in the field at a hospital. I am in the state of New Jersey and I am already 24 years old I would hate to spend my entire life trying to finish school. On top of that I am a single mother and would like to provide for my child while she is still small. Can anyone help me to tell me how they got their education in the Nursing field. Thanks...

If you can afford it, it would be best to pursue the BSN and get it over with. However it is difficult to get into any nursing school. Apply to all in your area and then see what options are available to you once you see which schools accept you.

What Caliotter said.
I'd go for whichever school you can get into first. If it was a tie, I'd say the BSN.
