I am currently in the ultrasound program and would like to complete that. I have all my pre-reqs and have decided to go for RN BSN once i'm done which is 4 years.. I will be starting at 29. I'm wondering whats the oldest in your class ? I am concerned many are usually done the program by my age.

I'm 39 in my first year of my ADN...and plan to get my BSN as well. In my 12 person class, there are 2 students older than me (one almost 50). Age is just a number, it really doesn't matter! Go for it!

29 yrs old is way too old. You will only be a nurse for 35-40 yrs before you retire. There are many second career nurses that started at a later age than you. I graduated with my BSN at 48.
Lol I think you meant to say not too old? and congratulations is it something you always wanted to do but where putting off?

I think that's called sarcasm. 29 is not too old. Not at all.
Haha okay :)
Sorry forgot my {Sarcasm} notation. Sarcasm doesn't translate too well in writing.

Definitely, not to old. I will be 35 when I start my program if I get admitted. Like me, you have at least 30 years of work ahead of you and we aren't even factoring in what Social Security will look like by the time we are suppose to retire.

I just finished by BSN at 31. Most of the people in my class were younger than me, except for a few. I don't think age really matters! You just have to be up to putting the work in and not care what other people think! Go for it! Good luck!

I am 38 and not the oldest in my class. Not even in my 8 person clinical rotation, as I am in the middle with 3 others older, and 2 of them are in their 50's.
