Work for a mass immunization company?

Published

Hi all! I'm new here and I'm excited to find a place that knows all about nursing :)

I was wondering if anyone has had experience working for any mass immunization companys around flu season. They pay decent per hour and seem to be flexible with hours so I can do it part-time while also working my full-time job. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!

I just applied and got hired at a similar place..u should message me, I bet its the same company. Im really worried about if they are al legit company or a scam!

I did too.......and I'm having the same thoughts! The interview was weird. Over the phone, a series of yes and no questions then a you're hired. Same thing for you??

I too was also hired by a flu shot company and I felt my interview was weird. Then to get the paperwork needed to get started they want to know how to pay you. The only options they have are your checking account info or to mail you a reloadable visa card. I chose the visa till I find out if they are legit because I don't want them having my bank info. I handed in paperwork and have not received my training yet. I did do some research online and I did find others who have worked for this company. So I guess everything will work out but in the mean time I am not taking any chances. Wish you all the best of luck

Wow..weird..I applied to a company yesturday..Now, i'm really going to do some research..

I worked for one of those major companies last year. If you go with the more "popular" companies they are legit. Their hiring process is like that because they have to staff nurses all over the US. They can't possibly be in every state to individually interview every nurse. It was a cool experience...could be boring at times if the place wasn't busy. I am considering doing it again! They only offer the direct deposit and reloadable cards because that's easier (and more cost and time efficient) than mailing out paper checks. I never once had any issues with my pay :) Hope this helps! :yeah:

Which State? if you don't mind me asking.:)

I believe many of us are talking about the same company (Name starts with M?) If you mention their name this thread will get closed. I did my interview earlier this week and thought it was strange also, but from the research I did it seemed legit so I went ahead and gave my checking info. I hope I dont regret that. Ive never done a clinic before so I hope this turns out to be a positive experience. Im a little worried, Ive been doing wound care for the last few years and havent had to give any IMs, should I start practicing on my hubby or do yall think its like riding a bike (once youve got it, youve got it)?

I did, too and had the same short interview lol. I looked them up and they seem legit. I'm just hoping to make some extra money on the side doing something simple. (Or easier than what I do now haha.)

Yes that is the company. I live in Florida. I also worked for another reputable company. They are legit. I promise. I was a bit weary in the beginning as well...simply because it seemed "too easy". They were always short nurses and were always calling me to help fill in. It's easy money if you have the time!

And Optimist--once you give one you will have it. They tell you to give it in their arm...pretty easy!

yeah. they are legit (the "M" co.) a great way to get practice as a newbie, and decent pay. signed back up for a second season and are looking forward to it!!

I too was hired by this company in Texas. I only applied because a friends sister has worked there for the last 3 years.

I am ready to start work!
