Work for a mass immunization company?

Hi all! I'm new here and I'm excited to find a place that knows all about nursing :)

I was wondering if anyone has had experience working for any mass immunization companys around flu season. They pay decent per hour and seem to be flexible with hours so I can do it part-time while also working my full-time job. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Anyone who wants to email me privately may...

This is my 3rd year with the company I believe you are talking about... and I LOVE IT!!

There have been glitches along the way, but nothing that wasn't adressed imediately, and you can always get someone on the phone with a question while you are out working.

I will warn, don't count on the hours to pay your bills... if the demand is not there, they will cancel or shorten clinics, but that is only good business practices. I love being able to schedule myself online, and pick and choose locations and times that fit my schedule.

if you want more info... email me!

I worked for the Vaccination Company That Must Not Be Named last fall. I'd had a bad experience with another company (starts with a P, based in Rhode Island), so I was wary at first.

My experience with VCTMNBN was great. A few clinics were cancelled in the beginning, but as the season continued I got a lot of calls to pick up shifts. I was paid on time every week. The only real downside was that the store where I worked the most was remodeling, so half of the people who came to my table were looking for merchandise. I also met a lot of new grads who were doing flu shots as a first job.

I just finished training with VCTMNBN for this coming year. I won't be able to work too many clinics, but I intendo to stay on through the fall.

I'm glad that most of you have had decent experiences! I haven't received any calls yet. I'm based in Washington state. It is the "M" company. Thanks so much for replying!
